Aegis Acquires MEMRB Research

Aegis Group plc ("Aegis") announced today that it has extended its international market research network, Aegis Research, through the acquisition (subject to certain conditions precedent) of MEMRB Custom Research Worldwide Ltd. ("MEMRB Custom Research"), the custom research division of MEMRB International.
MEMRB Custom Research is a leading provider of quantitative and qualitative market research with offices in 22 countries throughout Central, Eastern Europe and Southern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and associate offices in another eight countries. It provides its clients in the fast moving consumer goods, automotive, telecommunications, financial services and pharmaceutical sectors with a range of services covering all types of consumer and business-to-business research. MEMRB Custom Research operations are complementary to those of Aegis Research, which has a strong presence in the North American and Asian markets.
The acquisition of MEMRB Custom Research is a significant step towards developing a truly global market research network. Aegis first moved into market research through the acquisition of Market Facts, Inc in June 1999. Since then, Aegis has made a further seven market research acquisitions with operations in 37 markets to meet the growing demand for global research capabilities. All of Aegis market research operations were recently integrated into Aegis Research to create a single global research brand.
