Aegis Appoints First Global President of Aegis' Interactive Business

Aegis Group plc (“Aegis”) – the media communications and market research group – announced today the appointment of Nigel Morris as President of its interactive division. The operation extends to 22 countries and is the world’s third largest interactive media network. Nigel remains Vice President of Carat International and will divide his time equally between the two roles. His appointment reflects the growing importance of interactive media to the Aegis Group’s revenues and the growing trend towards international mandates.
Nigel has been tasked to develop the interactive business into a truly cohesive global network with common products, systems and practices and to support Carat’s and Vizeum’s clients in the interactive space.

Following an early career in fashion and corporate identity, Nigel joined the Aegis Group in 1992 as Marketing Director of BBJ. As Vice President of Carat International since 1999 he has had responsibility for some of the Group’s key global clients, Interactive International, Global Business Development and Marketing. He has been involved in the Group’s development of its interactive strategy since 1994 and has chaired the Global Interactive management forum for the last 3 years. He was a founder member of the Digital Marketing Group in the UK and recently was invited by Microsoft to share a speaker platform with Bill Gates on Connecting With Consumers in the Digital Decade.
