Aegis Appoints New Head of European Media Operations
Aegis Group plc (“Aegis”) – the media communications and market research group – announced today the appointment of Jerry Buhlmann (43) as Chief Executive of Aegis Media Europe,Middle East and Africa with immediate effect. Jerry was previously Chief Executive of Carat International with responsibility for some of Carat’s largest international accounts.
Jerry Buhlmann has worked with the Aegis Group for 13 years and was the founder of UK media agency, BBJ, which was acquired by Aegis. BBJ has become the basis of the UK arm of Vizeum,Aegis’s new media network. Jerry became COO of Carat International in 1999 and was promoted to Chief Executive in 2001.
Susannah Outfin (38), currently Vice President Carat International Paris, replaces Jerry as Chief Executive of Carat International.She will operate out of both Paris and London. Susannah has worked closely with Carat’s major international clients for the last four years.
