Aegis Acquires Australian Digital Marketing Agency - One Digital
Aegis Group plc ("Aegis" or "Group") - the media communications and market research group –announced today the acquisition of the Marketing Resources Management Group Pty Ltd. (“MRM Group”), owner of Australian digital marketing agency One Digital. One Digital will become part of Isobar, the Group’s recently launched digital one-to-one network.
Founded in 1992, One Digital has grown to become one of Australia’s largest digital marketing agencies employing 45 industry specialists and providing a full ‘end-to-end’ range of web services. This enables the agency to plan, build and promote complete online solutions for clients, helping them to achieve real and measurable results from their online presence. It is an approach that has helped One Digital to develop a first class list of blue-chip clients including Microsoft, Nestle, Google, Woolworths, Hyundai, Procter & Gamble, and HSBC.
The purchase price is composed of an initial consideration of approximately £1.6 million, payable in cash on completion. There is also deferred cash consideration payable over 4 years, up to a maximum of £6.3million, subject to rigorous performance criteria. For the year ended 30 June 2003, MRM Group had revenues of approximately £2.1 million.
