Non-Executive Board Appointment - Lorraine Trainer

Aegis Group plc ("Aegis" or "Group") - the media communications and market research group - announced today that it has appointed Lorraine Trainer as a non-executive board director. This appointment is with immediate effect.
Lorraine Trainer (53) has wide experience in human resources and has held senior management positions at Coutts NatWest Group (Director of Human Resources); London Stock Exchange (Head of Human Resources) and Citibank NA.
Commenting on this appointment, Lord Sharman, Chairman of Aegis said:
"I am pleased that Lorraine has agreed to join the Group Board. Lorraine's broad industry experience and her excellent background in human resources will prove an important addition to our Remuneration and Nominations Committee."
