Aegis Acquires Irish Media Agency

Aegis Group plc ("Aegis" or "Group") - the media communications and market research group - announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the equity of the Brindley Media Group (Brindley Advertising). On completion Brindley Advertising will become part of Aegis Media, Aegis' global media buying and planning division.
The purchase price will be composed of an initial payment of €4m plus the value of the net assets and a deferred consideration up to a maximum total consideration of €12 million plus the value of the net assets, payable over three years and subject to rigorous performance criteria.
Brindley Advertising is one of Ireland's longest established (1956) and best known media agencies. Its clients include the Irish Government Supplies Agency, The Combined Universities of Ireland, The Irish Aviation Authority, Tattersalls Ireland, Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority (IFSRA), The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland and The Football Association of Ireland
