Aegis Acquires Planete Interactive and Webcontents

Aegis Group plc, the media communications and market research group, announced today that it has acquired leading French digital agencies Planete Interactive and Webcontents. These businesses will be integrated into the Isobar network.
The purchase price will be composed of a total cash consideration of up to Euro9m, payable over three years and subject to strict performance conditions.
Planete Interactive and Webcontents merged early in 2005 and provide key elements of the Isobar service in France. Planete Interactive creates corporate websites and e-commerce platforms. Its clients include Christian Dior, Pierre et Vacances, L'Oreal and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Webcontents creates and delivers digital content across online and mobile for clients such as France Telecom, Michelin and the World Wildlife Fund.
