Aegis Appoints New Group General Counsel

Aegis Group plc, the media communications and market research group, announces the appointment of Mark Biddle as group general counsel.
Mark is a qualified lawyer with 15 years of post-qualification experience, including some 10 as in-house counsel. His experience encompasses both corporate and commercial law, with particular expertise in M&A, finance and corporate finance.
Mark arrives from Aviva, having been general counsel for RAC plc from 2004 until its acquisition by Aviva last year. Prior to that he spent eight years as legal counsel at Deutsche Bank, where he was a director of legal services with prime responsibility for supporting the M&A business. From 1989 to 1996 he worked at Slaughter and May, qualifying as a solicitor in both London and Hong Kong.
