Aegis Expands in Canada with the Acquisition of Genesis Media

Aegis Group plc (“Aegis”) today announces the acquisition of Genesis Media in Canada. Genesis has gross assets of US $16.2m.
Founded in 1992, Genesis Media is Canada’s leading independent media agency, with a particular presence in the faster-growing Western Canada region. It has a well-diversified service offering, including CRM, digital, direct and data analytics.
The acquisition of Genesis Media will increase Aegis Media Canada’s scale, creating a strong agency presence across the three main centres of Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Genesis Media will become part of the Vizeum network.
Commenting on the acquisition, Robert Lerwill, CEO of
