Acquisition of Apollo Group in Australia

Aegis Group plc today announces the acquisition of Apollo Group (“Apollo”). Apollo is the largest independent promotional marketing agency in Australia and New Zealand. At 31 December 2006, Apollo, incorporated in New Zealand, had gross assets of $3,308,000 (NZ$).
Apollo was established in New Zealand in 1995 and has also been trading in Sydney since 1999. Its services cover all areas of promotional marketing including consumer promotions, promotional printing onto game cards and packaging, experiential marketing and promotional insurance programmes. Apollo has a blue chip client base, including several multinationals, and high quality management.
Apollo is also the owner (including source code) and developer of The Apollo Marketing System™. This is a proprietary software suite that enables the collection, manipulation and outputting of promotional data such as unique codes, prize messages and predictive sports games.
