Granting of Security over Aegis shares by director

Aegis Group plc, the marketing communications group, announces that it has received notification from Leslie Van de Walle, non-executive director, that 61,549 Aegis shares have been included as security against an overdraft facility since 14 April 2008.
Leslie Van de Walle, through his family’s connected holding, has remained the beneficial owner of these Aegis shares and retains the associated voting rights.
