Retirement of Non-Executive Directors

Aegis Group plc, the marketing communications group, announces that non-executive directors, Bernard Fournier, Leslie Van de Walle and Daniel Farrar, will be retiring at the 2009 Annual General Meeting on 22 May, having completed, in Bernard Fournier’s case, nine years’ and, for the other two, six years’ service on the Board.
John Napier, chairman and interim chief executive, said:
“The Board and our shareholders owe a debt of gratitude
to Bernard, Leslie and Daniel for their contribution to the success
and growth of the business. A specialist search and board
advisory firm, MWM, has already been appointed and is progressing
matters. We expect to make an announcement concerning replacement
independent non-executive directors by or before the
AGM.”
