Bettina joined Aegis in March 2006 as a communications consultant with Carat Germany. She is currently working for one of Germany’s biggest mail order companies
“I work in a team of three and we discuss all relevant strategic questions with the client and take care of every media activity. My working day usually starts at my desk in the office in Wiesbaden – checking emails, talking to the client on the phone and meeting colleagues to discuss urgent matters.
"As our responsibilities are multiple, no day is ever the same. We are often working together with other divisions within the Carat or Aegis Media network, for example with Carat Expert, our internal research company for recommendations on target groups or with Carat Direct for direct marketing advice or other disciplines.
“Last year I joined our colleagues in our office in Dusseldorf for a pitch project. This was the first time for me to get in touch with our new 3C’s approach. It was very inspiring to apply this strategic framework and I learnt that it really helps approaching tasks from a different perspective.
"At the moment I am once again engaged in a pitch project for a popular alcoholic beverage brand and spend a lot of time thinking about business, brand, people and communication to generate profound consumer insights and convert this into a strategy that leads the company to success. I feel very excited to committing myself to completely new challenges – every day. It is the multiplicity that makes me enjoy my work at Aegis so much!”
